Well, I just found out that there’s going to be a DnD Game Day hosted in my local game store. That is so cool, especially because it is big surprise to me.
I have got a copy of “Into the Shadowhaunt” waiting to be read in my room. I also saw the 4 ed. core books, although I couldn’t buy them yet. The first impression is that they look cool…
I am really excited about the Game Day, because I haven’t played for like 2 months now and I am going to be GMing through all Saturday. And, of course, buy the 4 ed. core books. I am getting a huge discount ( and don’t have to pay for shipping etc. as I would if I bought books on amazon). And , as a GM, I am getting some D&D minis, and some dices…
Yeah, about 8 hours of 4th edition gaming, this is going to be cool.
Now, what I encourage all of you to go visit your local game store and take part if Game Day, if such is organised in your town. This is the best way to start playing 4th edition and RPG on the whole.
I am not going to write a review of the core books or Into the Shadowhaunt. I will write about the adventure on Saturday/Sunday, as I will present my opinion on the Game Day.
I am sure there are going to be dozens of reviews of the rulebooks, so I don’t think one more is necessary.
