		<description>Having uninvolved players play monsters or NPCs is an excellent technique. It works well outside of combat, too, though restricting major NPCs to the GM may be necessary, depending on style of play.

I'd be very careful with time limits. I doubt I could personally enjoy playing under such.</description>
