Seeking inspiration for your campaign? Having troubles coming up with interesting adventures, locations and encounters? Encounter-a-Day may be the solution.
The site is quite well known among people who read RPG blogs. However,if you haven’t seen it yet, definitely have a look. As you may guess from the blog’s title, it concentrates on ideas for various encounters, that you can use during your game. Also, there are ideas for places, adventures and even settings. Not all of them are cool and original. However, some are pure gold. The ideas range from classic fantasy to sci-fi, from magic to modern.
The design of the blog is not very good, but graphics aren’t what is most important.
I don’t read it every day, as I don’t need so many encounters. However, when preparing a campaign/adventure I usually take a look.
I guess what’s most important about the site is that Asmor, the author, had a great idea for a blog. Every RPG player (GM) needs some fresh ideas from time to time, and he/she can find some on the blog. The adventures are not of the level you can of those you can see on www.wizards.com, but they’re very flexible, can be easily adapted to your campaign.
Well, you should definitely have a look at www.encounteraday.com and maybe stay for a longer time.

Hey, thanks for the review! I think you overestimate my blog’s popularity, though!
You’re really too kind. I’ll admit that I have some good ideas once in a while, but most of my stuff feels like crap. Actually, that’s the whole reason I started the blog: to work on my own creativity and get better at coming up with unique and original stuff.
I guess you still have more ideas than you can include in your sessions
I’m also a big fan of Encounter a day. I was very pleased when it came back from the UET hiatus.
